The federal agencies and prime contractors of the Stennis Business Consortium (SBC) will be available to discuss their procurement and small business needs.  Don’t miss this opportunity to talk one-on-one with many of the local organizations that may have needs for your product or service.

Organizations committed to participating as of 15 April:  A2Research, Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), Hewlett Packard, Ingall’s Shipbuilding, Jacobs Facilities Operating Services Contract (FOSC), Lockheed Martin, NASA-Stennis, Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVOCEANO), Naval Research Laboratory (NRL), Raytheon Technical Services Company, and Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC).

 

May 22, 1:00pm, Building 1200 Auditorium:  Stennis Business Consortium Meeting

The next general meeting of the SBC is scheduled for Tuesday, May 22 at 1:00pm in the auditorium of the StenniSphere, Building 1200, at Stennis Space Center.  The focus of this meeting will be doing business with Navy Research agencies and will also include a tribute to National Small Business Week.

Featured speakers are:

  • Susan Wilson, Deputy for Small Business, Naval Research Laboratory
  • Cameron Childs, Licensing Associate for Technology Transfer Office, Naval Research
    Laboratory
  • Brenda Pickett, Director of Small Business, Office of Naval Research

Updates from agencies and prime contractors will also be presented.  Refreshments sponsored by the Hancock County Development commission will follow, with informal matchmaking featuring local NRL Branch Heads for Ocean Modeling, Marine Geosciences, and Oceanography.

SBC’s mission is to provide a mechanism for federal and state agencies, local institutions, and businesses to exchange information on small business goals, needed and emerging technologies, upcoming procurement requirements and opportunities, and issues dealing with existing procurement regulations.

Foreign Nationals must register a month in advance to insure access to Stennis.
