DDS is aquired by Geocent - September 18, 2008, 9:38 AM
New Orleans -- Diamond Data Systems, a
local leader in Information Technology (IT) services, along with
Prescient Technologies, LLC an innovative aerospace and defense
technology firm, have been acquired by Geocent, a new Louisiana-based,
woman-owned company. Bobby Savoie, current CEO of Prescient
Technologies, LLC, will assume leadership of Diamond Data Systems,
effective immediately. Diamond Data Systems is an IT and technology
services company in the New Orleans region that provides a variety of
technical services to clients in both the government and private
sector. Diamond Data Systems, founded in 1992, currently has about 100
employees at locations in Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Stennis Space
Center, and Charleston, SC and the Washington, DC area. Prescient will bring to Geocent /DDS additional locations in Huntsville, AL and Corpus Christi, TX.
