NVision Solutions, Inc., a leading provider of geospatial solutions, is pleased to announce Zack Watts, Lead Geospatial Software Developer for NVision, is now an ESRI Authorized Instructor for the course “Introduction to ArcIMS”. ArcIMS is an Environmental Science Research Institute (ESRI) solution for delivering dynamic maps, GIS data, and services via the Web.
NVision will offer the three-day course at the company’s headquarters at the NASA Stennis Space Center in Mississippi as well as at customer sites. The authorized training will enhance NVision’s current “Jumpstart for ArcIMS” service which provides onsite installation, configuration, and training for customers trying to quickly integrate Internet map server capability into an organization. This training will be offered in conjunction with ArcSDE Jumpstarts for a total Web-based enterprise GIS solution.
Mr. Watts has worked with ArcIMS since ESRI’s initial release of ArcIMS. Mr. Watts has continually developed award-winning ArcIMS applications and led a custom-developed ArcIMS course taught to the USGS, several universities, and commercial companies over the last six years.
